How to Teach Men #ToShareTheLoad

Few decades back in Indian household it was a common thing that Men will do job and women will take care of daily household chores. But with time things changed , women started taking technical education , they were more willing to do a job than simply sitting at home and doing cooking & cleaning.
Then family system also got changed , earlier there more joint families and women were expected to dedicate their life looking after family needs , but now we see more of nuclear families , a small family with husband , wife and kids
With the change in this system the work load on women also increased as there are no mother-in- law or sister-in-law who can give help in any way .
Thus the work load on women got increased many fold with a Home maker becoming  Super Women and doing multi tasking to maintain her daily house hold chores as well her professional commitment (if any ).
Cooking , cleaning , washing , teaching her kids every thing comes under a Women's  domain with she responsible for every thing , If clothes are not washed , dried and Ironed then everyone including the kids would ask their mom about it , no body asks their dad about clothes , food or home work .
The reason every one thinks that all this is a women's work .
At my home also this was the scene , we never asked our father for anything , it was always Mummy who was responsible for our food , lunch boxes , clothes , etc.
Very rarely my father use to help my mom in house hold chores .
But now things have changed , Men have become more responsible and sensible .
My  brother and my husband both really Share the load of a Women's work at their home .
My brother cooks food sometimes when he is free , usually during weekends so that my mom gets some free time and rest .
Sometimes my husband also cooks during holidays so that I can get some free time and do some other work or simply can take some rest from my hectic schedule .
Regarding Laundry I have a washing machine at home and I usually do laundry work , but my husband also does some laundry work just to help me .
Specially he prefers washing his own clothes in his own way.
Coloured clothes in a separate wash , daily wear in a separate wash and so on .
Even if I say I will do , he says he can do this much #ToShareMyLoad .
And I just love this gesture of his , its really great  to see  Indian Men or an Indian Husband thinking so much of about his wife .
When I am ill he does everything starting from cooking , washing clothes and taking care of kids.
In fact during weekends he wants to cook something different so that I can get a day break from cooking.
And we can spend more quality time together rather than me indulged in endless works at home.
My kids have learned good things from their dad then when somebody is ill we should take care of them and allow them to have rest and let them get well soon.
Thus this sharing the load concept is bringing a positive change in the society by men becoming more responsible towards their family and women getting more time to dedicate to their carrier along with being a dutiful wife and a caring mother or we can say a perfect homemaker .
This also helps to maintain work life balance for both the partners.

We need to teach men to share a Women' load of house hold work and daily chores as when  a husband and wife both are sharing the load of earning money , then they should also share the load in household chores .
Because SHARING IS CARING.
Now a days because of change in economy and high standard of living it is quite difficult to run a household with single income , so wives do step out of the house to help their husbands to have a decent monthly income. But she has to manage both home and her job.
In such situations it is very much required that husband should also help them in their daily house hold chores , It develops a strong bond of Love and affection between spouses as wife feels that her husband is caring for her.
It also helps to teach our kids and younger generation that men should share the load of their mom or wives in daily house hold chores and since children are great imitators  they would imitate and learn some good thing .

This survey shows what people think and collective opinion shows doing any household chore specially laundry is a women's job .

statistics

Ariel has started a Wonderful Campaign called #ShareTheLoad  Which would definitely help to change the existing system where a women is responsible for all house hold chores .

I am joining the Ariel #ShareTheLoad campaign at BlogAdda and blogging about the prejudice related to household chores being passed on to the next generation.

Review of Lever Ayush Suvarna Poshak Cream

Today I going to review a new product , Suvarna Poshak Cream from Lever Ayush .
Lever Aysuh is a brand of Ayurvedic products from Hindustan Unilever Limited .
We have been using several  HUL products including skin care and  hair care .
This time they had come up with some ayurvedic products .
This is the first product from its range which I have tried .

Its a type of day cream which we can use after cleansing our face in the morning .

Ingredients :
1.Rubia cardifolia root powder
2.Aloe Barbendid leaf juice
3.Germ oil
4.Santalum Album heart wood extract

so all natural and herbal ingredients to improve skin tone .

It contains added preservative --Sodium benzoate

Price --210 for 50 gms
shelf life --24 months from date of manufacture
Available on online stores like Nykaa.com , Big Basket.com

What the product claims :
The product claims to remove blemishes , wrinkles , and to enhance skin tone , complexion.

Pros :
1.Ayurvedic product so does not contains any harsh chemicals .
2.Does not contains any artificial colour .
3.Does not contains any bleaching agent .
4.Good for daily use .
5.Product packaging is good and pack is travel friendly .
Cons :
The product is not that great as it claims .

I have been using this product past 20 days and I did not found any magical change in my skin tone or complexion .
Its quite similar to fair n Lovely cream which we have used since ages .
Initially after applying it on face one feels or gets that feeling as it happens on applying fair n lovely cream , some dry feeling and I really liked it since my skin type is oily.
But there is no improvement in skin tone or complexion as the product claims .
So its like a normal Day cream .

My rating -3.5/5

This is my personal opinion after using the cream , result may vary for other skin types .

Why Simple Girls are Not Considered Fashionable

Everywhere in the world specially in Indian society a Girls/Women  Physical Looks are given much importance .
Fair n Lovely is not just a fairness cream , its the mind set of people .
Every body wants to be fair  so that they can look lovely and beautiful .
Indian market is flooded with cosmetics and skin care products from all part of world .
We have products from USA, UK , Australia , Paris etc and not to forget our Indian brands ,
Ayurvedic products , Organic Products , Herbal products and what not .
Its a million dollar industry .
Through commercials and advertisements the products are advertised to such a great level that its hard for people to resist buying it .
Girls and women are spending a huge amount of money on these skincare products and cosmetics just TO Look Good .
Being a women I know how important it is to look good and presentable but that does not means one gets obsessed with it and it becomes motto of their life .
Again the question rises why is it like this ?
The answer is because of Pressure from society to look good .
As beautiful Girls and women are given more importance than the Plain Janes .
When you step out of your home , at your school , college , work place and  every where looks are given more importance , at that  time no body cares to know about the other good things like nature , behaviour , talent etc.
So because of this every body wants to look beautiful and gorgeous and spend thousands of Bucks on grooming .
In my opinion to some extent its ok but to get mad after it is foolishness.
Instead of working hard on looks one should  work on other aspects like getting proper education , learning many skills , building good relationships with others etc.

Now have a look at the way a marriage is  fixed in any Indian family ( of any religion , region , caste )
In case of arranged marriage , the Boys family will meet hundreds of Girls family to see the girl and just  on a table of snacks and on physical appearance of girl marriage  are fixed .
If  both the families  know each other then its good but in most of the cases alliances are from unknown and new families , so just by going the physical appearance of a girl how can they decide that she is Good ?
She should tall , fair , beautiful .
(These are the most important criteria )
Then one asks about education , qualification , job etc .
Next comes Cooking skill .
That's it .
No body bothers about a girls nature , behaviour , likes and dislikes .
Her dream , passion and her plan for her future .
No body asks about a Boy's Looks , height , colour etc.
So I just do not like this system .
The most important thing is Compatibility .
Since both of them come from different family  and are different individuals , emphasis should be given on likes , dislikes , choices and preferences .
So that later on there is no compatibility issues and they can spend a good life after marriage .

I personally know many cases of my cousins and friends where alliance was not fixed as the girl was not too beautiful .
She was not fair like having  Milky white complexion , she was not slim like a model and she was not gorgeous like a celebrity or film star .
They were simple girls with golden hearts , Good Qualification , Good moral Values , Excellent skills like Cooking etc .
They were working Professionals with  an excellent carrier growth but were still considered not too good just because they were plain Janes , were not super gorgeous like TV actors or Film Stars .
So my question is Why Simple Girls are Not considered Fashionable ?
Fashion does  not means wearing western dresses or wearing some absurd things which actors wear in movies .
One can look good and gorgeous even in ethnic wear or traditional Indian wear like Salwar Suit , saree .
One does not need to put tonnes of makeup to look gorgeous .
A simple make up or skin care routine can also make a person look good .
So I hate this hypocracy based on Looks.

I wear what I feel comfortable , I do makeup when I feel like , Not to impress any one But to feel Good for myself .

I work on my talent , I try to learn new things and skills so that I can be better person .
And I think everyone should do this .
They should stop thinking What others are thinking about them But rather concentrate on What makes them happy , giving a Damn to any one's look or thought .
Just to make a bunch of few fools happy and impressed one should not get stressed .

So Live Your Life The way You Want .
Be Happy the Way you are .
Learn  New Skills and Increase Your Knowledge .
Prove your Talent and Be a Role Model for Others .

An advice for every one

Judge Me Not By looks
As Looks are Deceptive
It makes my Talent  Overlook  and Defective
Widen your Looks and Be Perceptive .

“I’m breaking stereotypes based on appearance by sharing my experience for the #IAmCapable activity at BlogAdda in association with Nihar Naturals.”

Story of a Beauty Blogger With a Veil

Today I am going to share a story of a Beauty blogger with a Veil .
Its about me , Mrs Ghazala Naseem Hejazi .
A teacher by profession , a writer by passion and a homemaker with a strong sense of responsibilities towards her family .
Born and bought up in a tradition Muslim family I am too much attached with my Religion , its teaching and our traditional values .
I always feel its better to follow our  culture and tradition rather then copying the west .
Our culture and tradition is much better than that of west , we have strong family values , we celebrate festivals with heart and soul .
During my childhood I did what ever I wanted  to , my family members specially my mom always encouraged me for everything , I had participated in various sports activities like Table Tennis , badminton , Throw ball etc.
I studied what I wanted , I started job at an young age .
Then after my marriage I continued my job for some time ,then with small kids as it was bit difficult I left my job as I feel  I need to give more time to my kids .
In last 12 years my teaching job was going on and off and then finally I decide to quit as it was taking a toll on my health and I was finding it difficult to manage my Job and family responsibilities .
Then I thought of doing something of my own .
Some work from home kind of thing so that  I can do it in my free time .
So started doing research on net that what kind of things I can do on net , most of them were writing works and I thought I could do it easily as writing is my passion and I use to write short stories and poems during my school days .
Then I did some more research on blogging , I found it very interesting as its a good way to connect with other bloggers and readers .
One can share their experience on various topics through their posts and blog .
Again I did some research on topics on which one can blog , the result-- Beauty product review  , Food and recipes , Travel ,Technology etc.
The one I liked most is Beauty Products reviews as  I always try new products as see which ones are good and give suggestion to my cousins and friends about it , so I thought I could do it easily .

Then I started following various Indian Beauty blogs to see how they write reviews and to learn some blogging tips form other beauty bloggers .
Writing part was not too difficult , what I found difficult was sharing my pictures on social media sites . I am not too comfortable with that ,not because of any family pressure but because of my personal choice.
In an era when even young girls and small kids are crazy about makeup , fashion and sharing selfie's on social media sites , a Shy Person like me who does not likes taking and sharing selfie  want to be a Beauty blogger was an unusual thing .
Many suggested I won't be able to do it so should not  waste my time and many could not still believe I am Beauty Blogger , may be because of my Physical look , as I wear a Veil /Hijab which is  my personal choice .
But I was  determined to show that a Veil or Hijab can never be an obstacle in a Women choice of carrier .
I made my blog , started writing product reviews , participated in various blogging contests and activities , won few , got many positive response from my readers and fellow bloggers that I write well and ultimately happy to Prove that I can be a Beauty Blogger With a Veil .
My veil is not an obstacle , its my strength .
And to be a Beauty blogger I do not need to take hundreds of selfies and post it everywhere , I am doing it by writing good reviews and my true experience with the product  so that my readers could know about the product .
I have not posted my pictures or selfie's through out the net just a few on my facebook profile for my friends and relatives so that they could see me as I have not met many of them since ages .
I would like to share one of my pictures here so that readers could see the face behind  this blog.
A blogger with a different attitude towards  many thing and the one who was successful in breaking the stereotype about appearance .
Physical appearance or  Dressing sense does not changes or depicts one's character or talent .
A talented person can prove his /her talent in any situation the only thing required is passion , patience and hard work .

And now after about eight months of blogging I feel happy to be a blogger .

“I’m breaking stereotypes based on appearance by sharing my experience for the #IAmCapable activity at BlogAdda in association with Nihar Naturals.”

Take a look at some of the startling figures that the Nihar Naturals #IAmCapable survey conducted by Nielsen India reveals:
a. 69% of men agree that their judgement of women is based on their looks.
b. 64% of women agree that the judgments passed on them have affected their ability to reach their true potential.
c. 70%of women agree that majority of judgments on women are from family members or friends rather than strangers.
d. 72% of women agree that working women face more judgments on their looks or their clothes than housewives.

10 Ways To Earn Money Online

Today I am going to share some Tips on How to earn money online  with comfort of Work from Home .
The world on Internet is full of surprises , One can learn a set of whole new things , One can win some Good stuff and one can  also do lot of creative things .
The requirement for all this is Passion , Patience and hard work .
I have been very active on  internet past three years and I had learned many new things , made new friends , earned some good amount , won many contests and giveaways and got many useful stuffs .
So I thought of writing this article so that my experience can help others to learn some good things .
I will start with the simplest and easiest which  anyone can do .

1.Survey Sites
There are many survey sites where one can register and join .
One has  to submit their email ID where surveys will be sent , on completion of one particular survey some points are awarded which when gets accumulated can be exchanged for some gift or e voucher of any online store .
There are many Survey sites which one can join and earn some money .
I had also joined few and here I would  name some of the best ones which pays reward on time .
1.Valued Opinion --here minimum pay out is 400 , one can opt for flipkart.com or amazon.in voucher ..
2.AIP Online survey ---Its also good , here minimum pay out is 100 , one can ask for flipkart voucher .
3.Star Panel -- Here number of surveys are less but they pay on time , minimum pay out is again 100 .

Filling surveys is very easy , only takes some time , few minutes .
So any one can do it easily .

2.Limeraod Scrapbook
I had written a post on this earlier that by becoming a Limeroad  Scrapbooker one can earn some credits of that store which can help to shop from that site .
Making a look on scrapbook is very easy as its just mix n match of products with some good sense of style .
One can read detail about this in my Post  Here

3.Joining Deals and Coupons Sites
There are several deal and coupon sites for India where one can become member .
One has to share deals and discounts on various online stores , share contests on web , share freebies available  for Indian users and one earns points for each sharing and when these points gets accumulated one can get some gifts or vouchers .
The two sites which I had joined long back are FreekaMaal.com and IndiaFreeStuff.in .
There are many more , one needs to research and know .

4.Review Writing
There are many sites where one can write reviews and earn some money .
The most famous one for Indian Users is Mouthshut.com .
I had joined this site last year .
That time for one approved review Rs100 was awarded to members , which was too good .
Now they have  reduced it to Rs50  per review , which is still good .
User needs to write real and true  review of the products and services listed in their database .
The best part is one gets cash prize as their reward , the prize is transferred to users bank account .

5.Partcipating in various Contests
Now a days on social media sites like facebook , twitter and instagram one can find various contests from different brands , one can participate in these contests and win some good prizes .

6.Participating in Blog's and Channel Giveaway .
Bloggers and Youtubers are hosting giveaways on their blogs and channel for its promotion , one can join these giveaways and win some good stuff .

7.Starting a Blog
Those who are good in writing can start their own blog and earn some money .
Maintaining a blog is not easy and earning takes time , but one can always start and try .
Bloggers earn by Google AdSense and affiliate marketing of various online stores .
But this requires lots of patience and hard work .

8.Starting a Youtube Chanel
Like bloggers Youtubers also earn by Google AdSense .
But one needs to excellent in a particular field to be a Youtuber and to be famous so that one can earn well from it .

9.Freelance Writing
Those who are good in writing ( in any language ) can do freelance writing , where one has to write some good quality articles for that site and one gets paid for that .
Here quality matters as every site needs good quality content .

10.Open a Free shop on ETSY or EZEEBEE
One can open free online shops on ezeebee or ETSY and can directly sell their products to customers without any middle man involvement , no need to spend huge amount on opening online stores and its maintenance .
One can simply register at these sites and sell their products like handicrafts or some hand made products like artificial jewellery etc and earn money .

These are few simple ways to earn money online , there might be many more , we need to research and find .
I have shared my personal experience of last 3 years on net .
Hope the article is useful to my readers .
One can share their experience too in the comment section so that others can also be benefitted .
