Wonderful Stories with Colgate Magical Sea World

Last week i got four different packs of colgate toothpaste with  some cartoon characters and animals pictures printed on the back side of it.

My daughter cut all those pictures and collected them to play with it.
Kids now a days are very  creative and imaginative.
As soon as they got this , they started thinking about stories which they can make from these characters.

Since my kids read lots of stories they easily came up with few good stories ,the one i liked most is as follows

 Adventures with Mermaids 

Once upon a time deep down under the sea there was a beautiful castle .
Some mermaids were living in that castle and were happy there .
The queen mermaid was named Fiona .
They had lots of friends like some star fish , dolphins , fishes , octopus and some other sea creatures.
Once some pirates were going in a ship in that sea , They had some treasures which they have collected  by looting some ships.
The captain  of the ship was Mr. Black Beard , he was also the head of the pirates .
He had a parrot named Kiko.
When the ship reached in the middle of the sea a big storm came and broke the ship , all the persons on ship were drowned except the captain , the ship sank down deep in the sea .
Mr.Black Beard tried a lot to search his ship and his treasures but could not , so finally he gave up and sat on a log of wood from the broken ship and swam towards the shore .
After some days again he tried but could not find the lost treasure.

One day some mermaids were swimming and playing near the place where that ship was there .
One of them saw the broken ship and informed her friends about it . All of them got curious and  went near it to see whats inside .They were amazed to see such a huge collection of treasure, gold , silvers,diamonds and pearls.

They took that treasure box to their  castle and kept it there and decided that they would give those to some needy and good people .

After few years  a family  was  going for a long vacation in a ship on that same sea .  The family had three  kids,  a boy named  Faezaan ,  and two girls  Sabhah  and  Hadia .They were going  along with with their mom and dad . One day they were enjoying a cool breeze on the deck of ship when suddenly Sabhah saw a mermaid and shouted "Look a mermaid there " , others tried to see but could not get a glimpse of that mermaid .
In the night when all were sleeping Sabhah went on the deck again as she was curious to see that mermaid again , she wished and prayed that she could play with that mermaid , and  her prayers were answered , she saw that mermaid near her ship , she called her and asked her to come and play with her. The mermaid was initially afraid but later on came and played with her for some time .
Then she went back and Sabhah also came back to her room and slept .
In the morning she told about this to her siblings, but no one believed her .

In the same ship Mr Black Beard was there who had came to search his lost treasure .
He went inside the  sea  to search the lost treasure , and after a long search he found it in the  mermaids castle , he had made hostage to all the mermaids only Fiona managed to escape and she wanted some one to help them , she came to the  ship and asked Sabhah and her siblings to help her .
Sabhah told about this to her father and they all decided to do something ,the security personals of the ship went with Fiona and caught Mr Black Beard and made all mermaids free and Mr Black Beard  was taken in to custody to be handed to the Police .
All the  mermaids were too happy and thanked every one .
Next morning when every one had their breakfast and they were enjoying cool breeze on the deck of ship they were amazed to see group of mermaids with lost of gifts .
They all praised kids and thanked every one for their timely help and gave those gifts to all .

Kids were too happy and excited to get so  many gifts and had a great time with mermaids , making a promise that they will try to visit them again and again so that they can have lots of fun .
This sea voyage was one of the most memorable journey kids have ever taken where they could make friends  with mermaids and do lots of adventures .

Such a long and lovely story by kids , there are few more and i really enjoyed them all .

After listening such stories i could recollect my childhood days when we used to dream about mermaids and such voyage on ship .

I would like  to thank  Colgate  for coming up with such great and innovative ideas and stuffs where kids can play , enjoy and learn new things .
My  youngest one Hadia learned about some  new sea animals and learned some new English words and she also tried to tell me a story from these pictures in her way of telling story , some English and some Hindi words .
Its better that kids do some creative thinking with such stuffs rather than getting glued to television or smartphones which in the long run is not good for them.
This Colgate Magical story concept is excellent which has not only helped kids to come up with some great stories but also helped their parents to spend some quality time with their kids and enjoy a series of story telling from innocent kids .

This brand prepares products from natural ingredients , fragrances and essential oils .
It has a good collection of skin care products like hand made soaps ,  lip balms , moisturizers etc .

The first product from this brand which i have tried is this Hand made Rose Soap .
The soap is pink in color and has a nice fragrance .

Price Rs 225 for 100 gms .
Shelf Life : 2 years from date of manufacture .

The soap is a type of Glycerine soap with rose fragrance and anti oxidants .

Its a 100 % vegetarian product , free from chemicals , parabens , SLS .

Pros :

1. Made from natural Ingredients .

How To Catch Up On Lost Growth

Hello Everyone
Today's post is a Parenting post dedicated to child growth and development .

Being a mom of small kids  i know how difficult it is to maintain their  good health .
Kids play and make themselves dirty and we need to make them teach basic hygiene like washing their hands before and after eating , taking bath daily etc. These basic things helps them to be clean and healthy .
Next comes the challenge of making them eat healthy food .
As kids like  chocolates , ice creams , chips , pastries and junk food  , without realizing that its not good for their health .
So  to make them eat healthy is a challenging   job for every mother .
One needs to prepare healthy food which are delicious and make their kid/kids eat that.
I always  try  innovative ways to make my kids eat vegetables and fruits which other wise they do not like to eat .
Like when i prepare fried rice i add lots of vegetables like peas , carrot , potato in it so that at least this  way they eat some vegetables , i make Parathas ( Indian Bread ) from spinach so that they eat  some leafy vegetables .
I add lots of fruits in Custard so that they have  a healthy snack .

When ever i visit a Pediatrician i always check their weight and height and discuss this with the doctor that is it okay or less then their age and what else should i do to keep them healthy and active.

In spite of doing so much still some times i feel they need some thing else to get more nutrition and energy and i always worry that they  should not fall behind on growth by not attaining the right growth and height as per their age .

To fill that gap we need to give  some thing extra which will make them feel energetic and would help them to catch up with that lost growth .

For it Milk is one the best option as its a good source of calcium and provides required energy and nutrition to kids .
But  to make your kid/kids drink milk is not an easy task .
They will give lots of excuses like my kids say :
I do not like its smell or i feel like vomiting by drinking plain milk .
Then it becomes difficult to make them drink  that .
For that again we need to think ways to make them drink milk like adding some chocolate powder from various brands or making some milk based sweets or giving milk with cornflakes etc .
In that also one has to keep in mind the best option which is healthy and good .

I have brought various flavors of Horlicks for my kids like Junior Horlicks , Chocolate Horlicks .
They like the chocolate flavor as they love every thing which tastes like chocolate , So this way it becomes easier for me to make  them drink milk  .

Apart from this we also need to ensure that our kids do not spend too much time in front of television or  with digital media like laptops , smart phones etc .
As this makes them spend less time in playing outdoor games and this is not good for their health and overall growth .
Such kids have less number of friends and  they do not know how to socialize with others .

I try my best to keep them away from television and digital media by following ways :

1. I encourage them to play outdoor games like badminton , cricket .
2.I take them to a near by park when ever we get time so that they can play outside with other kids and make friends with them .
3.I encourage them to do lots of activities like drawing , painting etc which they find very interesting.
4.I bring lots of story books for them so that they can enjoy reading some good stories and this also helps to improve their command on that language .

 Playing outdoor games  is very important as it helps in growth of a child , playing is a  good exercise  , helps to increase stamina and after playing when they get tired  they actually feel very hungry and that time do not make fuss in eating fruits or drinking milk .

So this way we can make them eat healthy and be healthy and these small steps would really help them to catch up on lost growth ( if it is ).
And it is very important for children to catch up on lost growth or else they will not be healthy and active , they will always feel lethargic and  this could have adverse effect on their health and growth .
It would be difficult for them to concentrate on their studies and they might feel low if they  lag behind others in studies , games and other activities , this could also make them feel depressed .
Children with poor eating habit have lots of health issues like iron deficiency can cause fatigue , calcium deficiency can cause pain in joints and bone etc .

So to  avoid all these we need to ensure that they get best of every thing , healthy food and  healthy drinks and a healthy way of living life .

Review of Paper Boat Chilli Guava Drink

Today  I am going to Review a Drink from Famous Brand  Paper Boat .

Today market is flooded with fruits juices and drinks from various Indian & International brands .
We have many options to choose from , but many fitness freak and health consious prefer drinks with no added sugar and no preservatives .

I had  seen this paper Boat drinks in few super stores  but never tried .
Was thinking of trying this as it has no added colors and preservatives .
Recently I got a box of two Chilli Guava Drink from Paper Boat and was happy to receive  a lovely surprise .

I tried these drinks and loved it taste .

It tastes like real guava with little chilli  flavour in it .

I thought it would to too spicy as it was written chilli Guava but its not that spicy or chilli , its good .

I loved its packaging , a unique one , one of its kind in the market .

Price Rs 30 for 250 ml which is too good .

Its great to get a good product in a reasonable price .

Expiry date -- 4 months from date of manufacture .

Paper Boat

Another thing which i like about these drinks is its Unique combinations  of flavors which has  great taste and some Unique Names which reminds us of our childhood memories , some thing  which is lost is today's busy life . Like this Chilli guava reminds us of guava + chilli which we used to eat during our school days . Kala Khatta reminds of some local ice cream/chuski  flavors .

So with this drinks we not only get a Delicious Drink but also get some old  memories which is to be cherished for ever .
